Account Vault ("the Extension") is designed to help users save and manage website notes and account information directly in their Chrome browser.
The Extension allows users to voluntarily enter and store information such as:
When a note is created, the Extension may access the URL of the user's currently active browser tab so that the website associated with the note can be saved.
Account information and notes are stored locally in the user's browser using Chrome's local storage functionality.
The Extension does not send this information to a remote server or database operated by the developer.
The stored vault is encrypted using AES encryption and is protected by the user's master password.
Account Vault does not collect personal information on external servers.
We do not:
Information stored by the Extension remains on the user's device unless the user removes it.
Users may choose to save passwords in the Extension. Passwords are stored as part of the encrypted local vault.
Users should keep their master password secure. If the master password is lost, the developer cannot recover the user's vault.
Users can delete individual notes or accounts from the Extension. Users can also use the Reset Everything option to permanently delete the locally stored vault, including saved accounts, passwords, notes, and the master password.
This Privacy Policy may be updated if the Extension's functionality or data practices change. Any updates will be reflected on this page.
For questions about this Privacy Policy or Account Vault, please contact the developer using the contact email address listed on the Chrome Web Store listing.
